Motorists travelling in and out of Liverpool via Edge Lane are advised of essential highway improvement works from 4th-6th October 2017.
- On Wednesday 4th October, the inbound carriageway of Edge Lane will be closed at the junction with Milton Road from 7pm until 6am.
- On Thursday 5th October, the outbound carriageway of Edge Lane will be closed at the junction with Milton Road from 7pm until 6am.
- On Friday 6th October, the outbound carriageway of Edge Lane will be closed at the junction with Mill Lane from 7.30pm to midnight.
- Off-peak lane closures are also in operation on the eastbound and westbound sides of Edge Lane from Mill Lane to Innovation Boulevard until the end of October 2017.
A spokesperson for AE Yates, the project managers working alongside Liverpool City Council and The Derwent Group to deliver the £100m Liverpool Shopping Park, said: “Work is progressing well and we are doing all we can to keep traffic moving on Edge Lane. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and encourage motorists to use alternative routes to avoid delays.”
