Motorists travelling in and out of Liverpool via Edge Lane are advised of essential highway improvement works over the coming weeks.
- Night-time road closures are in operation until Friday 1st September to allow essential road resurfacing works to take place:
- St Oswalds Street at the junction of Edge Lane and Edge Lane Outbound – Tuesday 29th and Wednesday 30th August
- Edge Lane to Tapley Place City Bound including Rathbone Road – Thursday 31st August and Friday 1st September
- Off-peak lane closures are also in operation on the eastbound and westbound sides of Edge Lane from Mill Lane to Innovation Boulevard until October.
A spokesperson for AE Yates, the project managers working alongside Liverpool City Council and The Derwent Group to deliver the £100m Liverpool Shopping Park, said: “Work is progressing well and we are doing all we can to keep traffic moving on Edge Lane while we carry out essential road repair and resurfacing works. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and encourage motorists to use alternative routes to avoid delays.”
