Motorists travelling in and out of Liverpool via Edge Lane are advised of essential highway improvement works over the coming weeks.
- From Monday 19thSeptember to Friday 21st September night-time road closures will be in place to allow road-resurfacing works at the junction of Montrose Way with Edge Lane. For the night of Tuesday 19th September ONLY, there will be NO vehicular access to McDonalds. McDonalds will remain open throughout the works.
- From Monday 25thSeptember to Friday 29th September, night-time road closures will be in operation at the junction of Milton Road with Edge Lane to allow junction resurfacing works to be completed.
- Off-peak lane closures are also in operation on the eastbound and westbound sides of Edge Lane from Mill Lane to Innovation Boulevard until the end of October 2017.
A spokesperson for AE Yates, the project managers working alongside Liverpool City Council and The Derwent Group to deliver the £100m Liverpool Shopping Park, said: “Work is progressing well and we are doing all we can to keep traffic moving on Edge Lane while we undertake resurfacing works. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and encourage motorists to use alternative routes to avoid delays.”
