Motorists travelling in and out of Liverpool via Edge Lane are advised of essential highway improvement works over the coming weeks.
- Night-time road closures are in operation until Friday 1st September at the junction of Rathbone Road and Edge Lane to allow road resurfacing works to be completed.
- Off-peak lane closures are also in operation on the eastbound and westbound sides of Edge Lane from Mill Lane to Innovation Boulevard.
A spokesperson for AE Yates, the project managers working alongside Liverpool City Council and The Derwent Group to deliver the £100m Liverpool Shopping Park, said: “Work is progressing well and we are doing all we can to keep traffic moving on Edge Lane while we carry out essential road repair and resurfacing works. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and encourage motorists to look for alternative routes to avoid delays.”
