Derwent Estates Expands Liverpool Shopping Park with £11 Million Investment

Derwent Estates, representing the Albert Gubay Charitable Foundation, has secured planning approval for a £11 million expansion at Liverpool Shopping Park. The project will add 70,000 sq ft of retail and leisure space, 90% of which is already pre-let. Highlights include a newly refurbished 35,000 sq ft Hollywood Bowl, a 20,000 sq ft Tesla showroom, and two new drive-thrus for Five Guys and Costa Coffee. The development will make the Park one of the largest retail and leisure destinations in the region, with work beginning in Q3 2024.

Art at Liverpool Shopping Park

Not only is Liverpool Shopping Park a great place to shop, eat and have fun, it is also offers something for culture vultures with the World’s biggest Liver Bird designed by internationally-renowned local artist Emma Rodgers and a unique Liverpool Cityscape ‘The Colourful City’ that was especially commissioned and painted on site by local artist Paul Curtis. Both works have set the tone for what we hope is a long collaboration between Liverpool Shopping Park and the best that the local art scene has to offer.

As more retail and leisure outlets open, Liverpool Shopping Park will confirm its place as the destination for those looking to shop, eat and have fun with family and friends.
